The Gradebook allows administrators to view all assignment data by class with filter options to customize the view.

Updated June 30th, 2026

Accessing the Gradebook

First, select Gradebook from the navigation bar on the left.

The filters will automatically display on the left side of the screen.

To view a Gradebook for a specific class, you must first select the school (District Administrators) and teacher (Campus and District Administrators).

After making your selections, select Apply Filters on the bottom left of the screen.

Next, select the specific teacher's class you want to view from the drop-down menu in the top toolbar.

After a class is selected, you'll be able to view all assignments and data by percentage or points.

Default Display

Student List:

Students are listed in the Gradebook by last name as a default.  Administrators can select the icon to have the student list sorted by first name instead. Teachers and Administrators can select groups from the Groups dropdown, which will filter student names based on the selected group.

Teacher and administrators can search for individual students to view their gradebook and assignment lists.

Assignments:

The Gradebook lists all the assignments by class for the entire academic school year.

Assignments are organized by category. Categories are selected by the teacher in the assignment settings. Assignment Categories include Activity, Exam, Homework, Practice, Project, and Quiz.

Within categories, assignments are listed in alphabetical order as a default. Categories can also be collapsed by using the Collapse Categories checkbox.

To view the assignments within each category sorted by due date, title and start date select the option from Sort by Date dropdown in the top toolbar.

Scores:

Assignment scores are defaulted to percentage (%) display, but can be switched to points using the View Percentage or Points toggle in the top right.

Percentage View:

Points View:

Scores are also displayed as rounded to the nearest integer, but administrators can select the checkbox to the left of Decimal Number to view a more detailed score.

Gradebook Cell Pills

Each colored pill represents the following about the student's assignment submission:

Dashed Line Pill The assignment was assigned to the selected student (not the entire class) but the student has not started the assignment.
Gray Pill With No Score or Border The student has started the assignment, but not submitted.
Gray Pill With a Score and a Black Border The student has submitted the assignment and the teacher needs to either score one or more questions or mark the assignment as graded.
Colored Pill With No Black Border The assignment has been submitted and fully graded with a status of graded.

How to Filter Gradebook View by Custom Date Range

The Gradebook lists all the assignments by class for the entire academic school year. Teachers and administrators can use the Custom Date Range filter on the left to limit the view by grading period or semester.

To customize the date range, select the calendar icon  on the left in the filters.

Then select the Start field to be able to select the start and end dates in the pop-up calendar.

After selecting the start and end dates of your custom date range, select OK in the pop-up and select Apply Filters on the bottom left side of the screen.

The Gradebook will update to only display assignments within the custom date range.

The Gradebook can also be filtered based on assignment type and categories. The teacher can use the assignment type and category filters to quickly focus on specific types of assessment for more targeted assessment review.

How to Print the Gradebook

While viewing the Gradebook for a specific class, click on the green Print button to print the Gradebook.

An alert will appear displaying the print processing time.

After processing, the print system dialog box should appear allowing users to select a printer and select Print.
