All about the My Assignments Tab

The My Assignments tab allows students to manage their coursework by starting new assignments, resuming unfinished ones, and reviewing graded submissions.

From the Student Dashboard, click on the Assignments tab located in the left navigation menu.

 The My Assignments page will be displayed to the student. 

Students can view assignments across different timeframes using the tabs for All Time, Today, Week, and Month, with Week being the default view. Additionally, they can filter assignments by selecting a custom date range (Start and End dates) using the calendar icon.

Students will have to select the class for the current year reflected in the Show All Classes Dropdown. Also, Students will use the Search Assignment by Keyword textbox to search the assignment title. 

To sort the assignments by due date use the 'Sort Due Date By' icon.

Students can filter their assignments by status using the following checkboxes:

  1. All :  View a list of all your assignments, regardless of status.
  2. Open : Displays assignments that haven't been started or need to be resumed.
  3. Closed : Displays the assignments that were submitted or passed their due date..
  4. Graded : Displays assignments that have been assessed and graded by the teacher.
  5. Future : Highlights assignments that are scheduled for the future.

Selecting the 'All' Checkbox

Selecting the All Check box auto selects all the other status checkbox such as Open, Closed, Graded and Future Status. All the Assignments will be displayed to the student. Student can notice the different status of assignments in this page. 

 
 

Selecting the 'Open' Checkbox

Open checkbox display assignments that students can submit. Each open assignment has a START / RESUME pill in the right corner. Students can click on it to attempt and complete the assignment before the deadline.

 
 

Selecting the 'Closed' Checkbox

Shows assignments that are past the submission deadline. Students can no longer submit work for these, but they may still be able to view their past submissions and teacher review comments.

 
 

Selecting the 'Graded' Checkbox

Lists assignments that have already been auto - graded and manually graded by the teacher. Students can check their scores and any review comments if provided. Clicking on the Review pill will display assessment's overview screen.  

 
 

Selecting the 'Future' Checkbox

Displays upcoming assignments that are scheduled to open based on the release dates set by the teacher. These assignments will become accessible on their designated future dates when their status changes from "Future" to "Open."
