How do I attempt an Assignment in Practice Mode ?

After logging in to the GO! platform, students can view the assignments released via My Assignments Widget or Assignments tab.
Note: Practice Mode is only available for question-based assignments such as:
- Digital Student Books (DSBs)
- ExperTrack Assessments/Checkpoints
- LEAP
- Clickbooks (CBs)
Practice Mode is not applicable for PDFs, Internet Links, and Videos.
Once students start an assignment, they can answer questions as usual, with the added Practice Mode tools available in the toolbar such as Show Answers.
.While working through the assignment and before submitting, students can view answers of the assignment by clicking on the Show Answers option listed under Other Tools in the toolbar on the right.
Using Show Answers:
To use Show Answers:
- Select Show Answers to toggle it on — the correct answer will appear directly below your response for the current question
- Select Show Answers again to toggle it off
The Show Answers option is not persistent. When a student navigates to the next question using the page numbers or selects a question from the overview page the Show Answers setting will automatically toggle off. Students may click Show Answers option once again if they wish to view the answers.
There is no limit set to how many times students can toggle Show Answers on or off on any given question.
Overview Screen:
Practice Mode gives students the ability to fully reset their assignment and start over from the beginning. Students can reset their assignment from two places:
- The Overview Screen during the assignment
- The end of the assignment after completing all questions
- My Assignments Tab
Reset Assignment Button:
Once students clicks on the Reset button , a confirmation Reset Assignment modal will appear.
- Selecting Yes will reset the assignment and take the student back to the first question
- Selecting No will close the pop-up and return the student to their assignment without making any changes
Note: The assessment cannot be reset unless it has been submitted by the students.
After confirming the reset, all previous answers will be cleared and the student will start fresh from question one. Students can reset their assignment as many times as they like in Practice Mode.
The student can review the assignment once it is submitted.
Otherwise, the review button will not appear if the assignment has not been submitted by the student.
