How do I eliminate answer choices in Single Select/Multi-Select Questions ?

Updated June 30th, 2026

Starting from the Teacher Dashboard, first select the grade level course from the My Courses Widget.

The teacher will be directed to the Content Player page. When a Digital Student Book / Clickbook is selected, all associated questions will appear, along with the accessibility tools displayed on the right-hand side of the screen.

To eliminate answer choices in Single, Select or Multi-Select questions, click Eliminate Options from the Annotation Tools section under the Accessibility Tools panel on the right side of the screen.

Clicking Eliminate Options from the Accessibility Tools panel will display a cross (X) icon to the left side of all available options of the assignment.

If the answer choices contain images only (no text): The option label (A/B/C/D/X) will be Strikedthrough. The image itself will NOT be crossed out or altered. This ensures images remain clearly visible.

Selecting the close (X) icon next to an answer choice will apply a strikethrough to that option, visually indicating that the choice has been eliminated.

In the assignment, the teacher can strikethrough answer options to visually mark them. However, this action is temporary and applies only during the current session. If the teacher refreshes, or reopen the page or assignment, the options will appear in their original state without strikethrough.
