Important to Know
Your school district must select to roster for Gallopade Online with Canvas in order to integrate assignments from Gallopade Online.

While creating an assignment, scroll down to the Submission Type and select the drop down menu to select External Tool.
Then select Find under Enter or find an External Tool URL

This will cause the Configure External Tool pop-up modal to appear. Choose the Gallopade Online External Tool.
Important to Know
The Gallopade External Tool name may vary by district as administrators can customize this name.

The Link Resources from External Tool modal will appear displaying the Gallopade grade level course, assigned to your class / section.

The teacher can navigate to the content hierarchy by clicking the > arrow displayed to the right of the desired unit name. This action expands the navigation tree for the selected unit, revealing all associated lessons for selection.

Select the checkboxes on the left side of the resource title, to pair the resource(s) to the platform.
The selected item from the course will appear on the top right of the modal. Press the blue Link Item to Platform button to link the Gallopade item and to return to your Assignment creation screen.
Next press Select in the Configure External Tool pop-up to save your selection.

You'll notice the link is updated in the External Tool URL field for the Submission Type.

Finish editing the remaining assignment settings as needed and when complete, press Save & Publish to send to students.

This action will also give teachers a preview of the item linked and can be used in classroom instruction as the view is very similar to the student view.
