How do I Hide my Class(es) ?

The Classes can be hidden from the Grade Book and other tab views within the GO! platform. To access this option, navigate to the Classes tab from the GO dashboard.
- Teachers sometimes receive auto-loaded sections from Clever/ClassLink that they don't use and want to hide.
- LTI users (Canvas/Schoology) may prefer to see only their LTI-created sections without Clever/ClassLink sections.
- Hidden Classes still receive updates during synchronization process.
Hide Class from Class Dashboard
On the Classes screen, teachers can locate the class they wish to hide. To find a specific class, use the filters on the left side (District, School, Teachers, Group) or use the search bar to look up the class by keyword.
Each class now includes a Hide Class toggle under the Class grade. To hide a class, simply turn the Hide Class toggle ON.
Clicking the Hide Class toggle displays a Hide Class confirmation popup. To confirm your action, click the blue Save button
To proceed, click the blue Save button, the class will then be hidden from all views.
Un-Hide Class from Class Dashboard
To un-hide a Class, navigate to the GO! dashboard and select Classes Module. On the Classes screen, locate the class with Hide Class toggle turned on.
Scroll to the bottom to locate the class with the Hide Class toggle turned on, indicating it is currently hidden, and turn the toggle OFF to unhide it.
An Unhide Class confirmation popup modal will appear — click on the Save button to make the class visible again in all views.
If the teacher clicks the Cancel button on the confirmation pop-up, no changes will be made.
Hidden Classes – Excluded from Screens and Widgets
Although a class is hidden from all the views, it will still be visible on the Classes Dashboard, which serves as the sole location where a teacher can restore a previously hidden class.
Hidden classes are excluded from various screens and widgets, including:
- Main Dashboard dropdown
- Needs Grading Widget
- Student Performance Widget
- My Students Widget
- Usage Widget
- Assignments Due Widget
- My Courses
- Gradebook dropdown
- Assignments dropdown
- Student Dashboard: Classes dropdown
- Reports - Filter dropdown
- Reports: Step 1 Class Dropdown
- Reports: Step 2 - Class Dropdown
- Announcements: Step 2 classes dropdown
- Standards Mastery report BY CLASS
- Student Portal: My Courses
- Student: My Assignments
- Student: Assignments Dashboard
- Student: Courses Dashboard.
