General Information
SSO teachers can use the Classes section to create new classes, edit classes and rosters, and view class details such as the number of students rostered and the amount of digital assignments due.
Locating a Class
To locate a specific class, you can use the filters on the left side or use the search bar to search by keyword.

Once you’ve located a class, you can quickly view basic class information, number of students registered to the class, and how many digital assignments are due.

Edit a Class
Teachers can edit a class by selecting the Class Name or selecting the three dots to the right of the class name and selecting Edit in the pop-up.
The Ellipsis shows two options “Edit” and “Rosters”. The Edit Screen takes you the to main edit page and clicking Rosters will take you to step 3 directly.

SSO Teachers can only edit select fields within Step 1 of the Edit Class Screens. These fields include:
- Class Name
- Uploading a Class Avatar
- Adding Course Content
- Adding a Co-Teacher

All other fields in steps 1, 2, and 3 are managed by your district’s IT team.
Step 2 “Add Students” will have multiple options from adding a single student to adding multiple students.

Teachers can select required class to access the “Add Student” button. If teacher required to add more than one student at a time, directly navigate to the “Add Multiple” button.
Step 3 “Rosters Summary” will show all the Class information summary and list of students.

Then locate the student in the Students Added section.

Select the Pencil icon to the right of the student's name.

Next, select the left drop down menu and edit the student's class status from Active to Inactive.

Editing an individual student's class status to Inactive will remove them from the class, and they will no longer receive new class assignments from this specific class.
Viewing Inactive Students from the Roster Summary
To view the inactive students in the class, select the Display Inactive checkbox

• When the checkbox is unchecked (default), only active students are shown.

• When the checkbox is checked, the list will include inactive students in the class.

When you are finished editing your class roster, review your class information and roster on Step 3 then select the blue Save button at the bottom right of the screen.
