How do I filter students by group from the gradebook ?

Select Gradebook from the left side navigation bar
Then select the specific class using the classes drop-down menu in the top toolbar.
Next, select the down arrows on the left side of the page to show all filters.
Click the Select Group dropdown to select from the available groups created by the teacher. By default, All Groups option will be displayed.
Based on the group selection from the dropdown, the gradebook will show the results based according to the student groups only.
