How can a teacher edit Advanced Grading Options of an assignment?

Grading options can be edited by the teacher from the Edit Assignment screen. Teachers will need to use the Edit option from the Assignment Due / Needs Grading widget / Assignments module / Gradebook to access the Edit assignment screen.
Accessing Advanced Grading Options before a student starts the assignment
After landing to the Edit Assignment screen, the teacher will need to scroll down the Advanced Grading Options tab.

Editing the Advanced Grading Option can only be done before any student starts the assignment.
Select the yellow alert “Changing this Grading Options would override all class assignment records” and the Advanced Grading Options will be expanded.
The teacher can notice the questions displayed and edit the question weight / percentage / change points / disable grades.

The scores can be disabled using the toggle option for score turned off (grey). The grading settings apply to all students in the assignment.

For an Interactive question based assignment, teachers will see a list of content pages and/or questions included in the assignment and can edit the weights, percentages, or mark a question to not be graded by adjusting the toggle to gray.

For a PDF, Internet Link or Video assignment, teachers will be able to edit the total points for the entire assignment.

Advanced Grading Options cannot be edited , if students have already started the assignment.
Select the yellow alert “You don't have permissions to change Scoring Options” and the Advanced Grading Options will be expanded.

The teacher is not allowed to edit the question weight / percentage / change points / disable grades .

After making any changes, make sure to scroll to the bottom of the screen and press the blue Save button.
