A resource has to be selected to assign to an individual student or to a class of students. Clicking on Assign button next to the resource will navigate to Assign pop-up modal. 

To view information about Assignment Release and its settings, click on the “?” icon in the Assign window. Hovering over the   “?” icon will display a “Help” tooltip. 

By selecting the “?” icon, users can view descriptions of each option in the Assign modal, such as Assignment Title, Assign to, Select Students, Start and End Dates, Category, Additional Settings, and Advanced Grading Options. 

Click the Continue to Assignment Release button to move forward with the assignment process.

Now, click on the Assign button to proceed with assignment release.
