All about the Individual Assignment Report

Accessing the Individual Assignment Report

Access Individual Assignment Report from the Assignment Title of the Gradebook

Navigate to the Gradebook tab of the GO! application.  

Then select the class the student is rostered in. 

Then select the Assignment and click on the title. It will display a pop-up menu of assignment management options.                                 

Within the assignment management options, select Individual Assignment Report. 

The teacher will be navigated to the  Individual Assignment Report page. 

 
 

Access Individual Assignment Report from the Score Pill of the Individual Student

Navigate to the Gradebook tab of the GO! application.  


Then select the class the student is rostered in. 


Then select the student Score Pill. It will display a pop-up menu of assignment management options. 

Within the assignment management options, select Individual Assignment Report.  

The teacher will be navigated to the Individual Assignment Report page. 

 
 

Accessing Through Item Analysis Report

After logging into the GO! dashboard, select the Reports tab from the left-side navigation menu.

From the Reports page, click on Item Analysis Report under the Favorite Reports section or from the available reports list.

On the Select Assignment screen:

  • Filters such as School Year, District, School, and Teacher are applied automatically based on your login.
  • Choose the assignment you want to analyze by clicking the radio button next to its title.
  • After selecting the assignment, click the Run button at the bottom-right corner.

A full Item Analysis Report will load showing:

  • Each test question and question type
  • Standards alignment
  • Student responses and correctness (color-coded)
  • Individual student scores
  • Class-level averages and performance distribution

Teachers can scroll to the All Students section at the bottom of the report to view a report icon located next to student's name. 

Clicking on the Reports icon will display a pop-up menu to select the Individual Assignment Report option. 

The teacher will be navigated to the Individual Assignment Report page.

 
 

Accessing Individual Assignment Report through Summary Tab

Teachers can locate the Grade Summary page by clicking on the assignment title from the Needs Grading widget, the Assignment Due widget and  the Gradebook module. 

Then select the class the student is rostered in.

Then select the Assignment and click on the title. It will display a pop-up menu of assignment management options. Within the assignment management options, select the Summary Option.                                  

The teacher will be navigated to the Summary Tab.

Navigate to the Summary page. In the All Students section, locate the student’s name. On the right side of the student’s name, the Reports icon will be available.

Clicking the Report icon displays a pop-up menu with available report options. The teacher will have to select the Individual Assignment Report option.

The teacher will be navigated to the Individual Assignment Report page.

 
 
 
 

 Individual Assignment Report Header

The Individual Assignment Report includes several navigation options in the header section to help teachers efficiently review student data. 

  • Header Level Filters: The filters area contains three drop-down menus that the teacher can use to adjust the report settings. The 3 drop-down menus are Classes list, Enrolled Student list and the Assignment Title. 
  1. Classes: The teacher will see this defaulted to the class from which the report was started. The teacher can select any other available class from the dropdown menu. When a new class is selected, the student list and assignment list will refresh automatically.

 The teacher can view all active classes where they are enrolled as either the primary teacher or a co-teacher.

 

 

2. Student List: The teacher can use this drop-down to choose a student. The list will update when the teacher selects a different class.

  • If the teacher starts the report by selecting an Assignment Title, the first student (lastname, firstname) will be selected by default in the Student dropdown. 
  • If the teacher opens the report from a specific student’s assignment cell or pill from the gradebook, that student will be selected by default, but the teacher can choose any active student in the class.

3. Assignment List: The teacher can select from all assignments associated with the chosen class. This list is based on the class the teacher originally started the report from.

Export: Clicking on export button will display two options: Excel and CSV to choose from. 

Print: Clicking on the green Print will print the individual assignment report. 

Report Generated: Displays the exact date and time at which the report was generated.  


Student Information :  The Student information label displays key information about the student, including grade, teacher's name, the assignment start time and submission time.

  • Student Avatar
  • Student Name
  • Teacher's name.
  • Start time (The time when the assignment was attempted.)
  • Submitted (Time of submission).

 

Assignment Information: This label provides details about the assignment, such as:

  • Gradebook title (Teacher given title while releasing the assignment) 
  • Original Assignment title
  • Subtitle of the Assignment
  • Assignment due date
  • Type of the Assignment ( Interactive, PDF)
  • Standards icon
  • Additional Information icon 

High Level Data about the Assignment:  This section allows the teacher to view high-level data related to the student’s performance on the assignment, including:

  • Status
  • Final score (as a percentage / points) 
  • Final points awarded vs. Total Possible points
  • Total number of correct answers / total questions
  • Total time spent on the assignment (in minutes and seconds) – Future Implementation, Coming soon… 

View Assignment Notes: Selecting View Assignment Notes opens a modal displaying the student’s assignment notes

Below the High Level Data header , there are 2 tabs: Assignment Summary and Standards. 

 
 

Assignment Summary Tab for Interactive Type of Assignments

Assignment Summary Tab:

The teacher can navigate to the Assignment Summary tab to view a detailed breakdown of the student’s performance on the individual assignment.


Questions :

The teacher can view all questions listed in the exact sequence in which they appear in the assignment. 

Clicking on the sort arrow will sort the option to in ascending and descending order. 

Performance:

The teacher can view the student performance on each question, including correct/incorrect indicators and the student’s actual responses for multiple-choice items (e.g., A, B, C, A/B). For Open Response, Spelling, Drawing type of questions the Performance field will be blank. 
 

Points Earned:

The teacher can review the number of points the student earned for each question.

Points Possible:

Shows the maximum number of points a student can earn for each question based on the assignment’s scoring criteria.

Question Type:

Shows the abbreviated question type (e.g., MC, MS, FITB), indicating whether the item was a multiple choice, multi-select, or fill-in-the-blank question.

Standards:

The teacher can see all standards aligned to each question in the Standards row.  Long list of standards are denoted by “…” when the list becomes too long.

Clicking on the Standards hyperlink will display a pop-up modal.

A modal window will appear showing the question linked to these standards, along with number of times it was attempted. 

 

Time Spent: Future Implementation, Coming soon… 

The teacher can monitor the exact amount of time (in minutes and seconds) the student spent on each question.

To access back to the gradebook, the teacher will have to click on the View Gradebook Link from the top of the Individual Assignment Report page. 

 
 

Assignment Summary Tab for Non-Interactive Type of Assignments

For non-interactive types of assessments—such as PDFs, graphic organizers, writing prompts, and so forth—the Assignment Summary page will display the following details:

  • Points Earned 
  • Points Possible 
  • Standards 
  • Time Spent on Entire Assignment 
 
 

Standards Tab

The teacher will View Detailed Sub-Standards associated with the questions or at the assignment level.

Standard Details Display

Each sub-standard includes:

  • Sub-Standard Title - Standard code number (e.g., SS.2.10.a)
  • Content Statement - Full text description of the standard
  • Circle Graphic - Visual representation of the student's performance average.
  • Assessed X Times - Count showing how many times this standard has been assessed

Detailed Assessment Information

To view specific assessment details:

  • Click on the "Assessed X Times" link. 
  • A modal window will appear showing all assignments linked to this standard.
  • Performance indicators will show "partial" or "incorrect" for any question not answered with 100% accuracy.
 
 

Printing Individual Assignment Report 

Clicking the Print button from the Individual Assignment Report will display 3 options:

  1. Print Single Student: 
  2. Print By Class
  3. Print By Group

 

The teacher can choose to print the report using one of the following workflows:

Print Single Student: 

              Individual Assignment Report can be printed for a Single Student displaying Assignment Summary and Standards. Clicking on the Print Single Student Option will display the Print Options modal.  

Print Class: The teacher can use this option to print reports for all students in the selected class. The Print Options dialog will appear, and the teacher must select the appropriate filters.

 Print by Group: The teacher can select this option to print reports for specific groups. A Print by Group dialog will appear where the teacher can select one or more groups. The teacher can click Cancel to exit or Next to open the Print Options dialog. After selecting filters, the teacher can generate a PDF that includes;

The final PDF will list all active students from the selected groups, with page breaks between students and sorted by lastname, firstname.
