All about the Student Progress Report

Accessing the Student Progress Report
Navigate to the Gradebook tab of the GO! application.

Then select the class the student is rostered in.

Click on the
icon next to the student's name to view Student Progress Report of that student.

The Student Information modal will be displayed to the teacher. It displays key details about the student, including their name, grade, account status, login information, class average, and enrollment status. Teachers can also update the student’s password, view reports, impersonate the student, or access full details and usage data from this modal.

To view Student Progress Report, click on the Report dropdown and select Student Progress Report.

The teacher will be navigated to the Student Progress Report for the selected student by default. Also, the teacher is allowed to navigate directly to the gradebook by clicking the View Gradebook link.

The Teacher can also view Standards Mastery of specific questions in the assessment by clicking on the Standards tab located next to Grades Tab.

Student Progress Report Header
The Student Progress Report includes several navigation options in the header section to help teachers efficiently review student data.

Class Listing Dropdown :
- Displays all ‘Active’ classes created or associated to the teacher.
- The classes dropdown allows to switch between different classes without exiting the report by simply selecting another class from the dropdown to view that class's data.
- The system remembers which student's report you were viewing and maintains context.
Student Dropdown :
- Lists all active students enrolled in the currently selected class.
- Quickly switch between students by selecting a different name from the dropdown or using < > navigation arrows.
- Report is displayed as soon as the student data updates immediately upon selection.
Filter Button :
- Access additional filtering options to customize your view.
- Set date ranges to analyze performance over specific time periods:
- Class To Date (default) : The default date will be displayed in the calendar.

- Custom Date Range : The dates will have to be selected from the calendar.

- Custom date ranges will display at the top of the report after selecting the date range. The Custom date filter can be reset/cleared by clicking on the 'x' of the date range.

The teachers can modify the date range using two convenient methods.
- The first option allows users to access the date range settings by clicking the Dates button, which will display the currently selected range and provide controls to adjust the dates before applying changes.
- The teachers can directly interact with the displayed date range by clicking on it and making manual adjustments to quickly customize their view.
Print Button
- Clicking the Print button will create a printer-friendly version of the Student Progress Report that maintains all the current filters, date ranges, and student selections. More options on printing will be explained in the forth coming notes.
Student Information

The following fields can be found in the Student Information section:
- Student Avatar
- Student Name
- Grade of the Student.
- Teacher associated with the Class.
- Class: Class name associated with the student.
- Report Generated: This field displays current date and time.

Date Range:
- If a date range has been entered in Filter, display selected range.
- If no date range has been entered, display default School Year dates.

Class Average:
- This field is calculated by the Final Grade given to the Student / Total Points.
- Assignments Submitted by the Student.
- Display Class Average Checkbox: Default is checked. If turned off, the entire new Class Average will be hidden.
Grades Tab
Navigate to the Grades Tab in the Student progress report. The Assignments will be displayed grouped by category in alphabetical order.

Manage Categories
- Use the up/down arrow icon ^ next to each category to expand or collapse the view
- View the category average (calculated as average of Student Class Assignment's - Final Grade / Total Points)
- Teachers also can notice that actual points are also displayed.

Review Assignment Information
- Each assignment displays the following elements:
- Name: The assignment title that is assigned to the student.
- Subtitle: Sub-title of the assignment
- Type: Format indicator (PDF, Interactive, etc.)

Check Performance Metrics
- Score:
- Score is displayed in both Points and Percentage View.
- Due Date: The assignment's submission deadline
- Status: Current status of Student Class Assignment with submission date if available
- Comments: Links to view feedback and notes.
- Assignment Comment & Note from Student: Student-provided notes or comments

Filtering Assignments

Use Assignment Status Filtering
- Locate the Assignment status filter dropdown
- Select your preferred filter option from the dropdown list
- Default view is set to "All Assignments"
- Notice the below options after clicking the “All Assignments” dropdown.

- All Assignments - Shows every assignment regardless of status
- Only Graded - Displays only assignments that have been graded by the teacher
- Only Late - Shows assignments submitted after the due date
- Only Missing - Displays assignments not yet submitted
- Only Started - Shows assignments the student has begun but not completed
- Only Submitted - Displays assignments turned in but not yet graded
Assignment Sorting Options
The Student Progress Report offers flexible sorting options to help the teacher organize assignment data:
- Sort/Group by Category (Default): Organizes assignments by their category types, making it easy to evaluate performance across different assignment groups

- Sort by Date: Arranges assignments chronologically, allowing you to track student progress over time.

Standards Tab
Viewing Standards Data
- Initial View: When first accessing the Standards tab, the teachers will be able to see standards grouped by strands/categories, but the detailed standards will not be visible yet

- Expanding Categories: Click on a strand/category to expand it and view the next level of averages

- Viewing Detailed Standards: Click on any level to display the actual sub-standards with complete information

Standard Details Display
Each sub-standard includes:
- Sub-Standard Title - Standard code number (e.g., SS.2.10.a)
- Content Statement - Full text description of the standard
- Circle Graphic - Visual representation of the student's performance average.
- Assessed X Times - Count showing how many times this standard has been assessed
Detailed Assessment Information
To view specific assessment details:
- Click on the "Assessed X Times" link.

- A modal window will appear showing all assignments linked to this standard.

- For question-based assignments (DSB, CB, ET, VQ), use the up/down arrows to expand and view individual questions

- Performance indicators will show "partial" or "incorrect" for any question not answered with 100% accuracy.

Printing a Student Progress Report
Printing Options
When you click the PRINT button from the top right of the page, the teacher can choose from several printing options:


Print Scope:
- Print Single Student - Generates a report for only the currently selected student.

- Print Class - Creates a comprehensive report for all students with automatic page breaks between each student.



- Print by Group - Produces reports for specific student groups based on the group selection in the final print dialog

Clicking on Print / Next button by selecting the checkbox from the Print by Group modal will display the Print Options modal box. After selecting the desired options from the modal box, the teacher will have to click the Print button to view the reports for specific student groups based on the group selection.

Content Options:
The teacher will notice the below modal for either Print by Group or Print Single Student/Class will have the following options:

- Include Grades and/or Standards
- Display Assignment Categories Only (summary rollups)
- Display All Assignments (categories plus detailed assignments)
The resulting PDF will be formatted according to the teacher selected options, providing either a summary view or comprehensive performance details.
