How do I view usage information for my students?

Teachers have the ability to view usage information of students through the Student tab and the Gradebook.

Viewing Student Usage Information

To view usage information of a student, there are two ways :

View Student Usage Information via Student tab

Log in to the GO ! application and navigate to the Student tab. 

Teachers will need to use the filters on the left side of the Student page to locate the individual student and click on the Apply Filters button.

After locating the student's name, click on the ellipsis icon next to the student details and click the Usage option. 

The teacher will be redirected to the User Account Usage page. The teacher can notice details such as Role , Activity , Time Spent, Description, Actions taken by the student.

Each login session is color coded in the first column to the left.

 

The teacher has access to different Date options by clicking on tabs, such as - “All Time”, “Today”, “Week” and “Month” to view the User Account Usage. 

  • “All Time” : Provides all usage data
  • “Today” (Default) : Displays usage for the current date.
  • “Week” : Displays usage for the current week.
  • “Month” : Displays usage for the current month.

Teachers also have the option to search for the title of a specific content item like Report, Digital Student Book by utilizing the search box labeled “Search Titles”. 

 
 

View Student Usage Information via Gradebook

Log in to the GO ! application and navigate to the Gradebook tab. 

Then select the class the student is rostered in.

Click on the  icon next to the student's name to view user account usage of that student.

The Student Information modal will be displayed to the teacher. The user can click on the View Usage button. 

The teacher will notice a modal pop-up - Student Usage with details such as Role , Activity, Time Spent, Description, Actions taken by the student.

Each login session is color coded in the first column to the left.

 

 The teacher has access to different Date options by clicking on tabs, such as - “All Time”, “Today”, “Week”, “Month” and “Custom Date Range” to view the User Account Usage. 

  • “All Time” : Provides all usage data
  • “Today” (Default) : Displays usage for the current date.
  • “Week” : Displays usage for the current week.
  • “Month” : Displays usage for the current month.
  • “Custom Date Range”: Will allow teachers to select a custom date for results.

Teachers have the option to search for the title of a specific content item like Report, Digital Student Book by utilizing the search box labeled “Search Titles”.
